WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
From Foundation to Full Routine.
Week One
Foundation
Safety, grip, posture, basic sword patterns, body positioning and opening choreography.
Week Two
Strength & Flow
Endurance, transitions, direction changes, rhythm and connected movement.
Week Three
Choreography & Performance
Larger routine sections, confidence, musicality, expression and group synchronization.
Week Four
Refinement & Mastery
Clean full routine, precision, performance stamina and bonus content preparation.
EQUIPMENT
What You Need to Move
One instructor-approved traditional Tai Chi-style practice sword is included with your four-week Blade & Body experience. Optional accessories may enhance your conditioning and recovery work — but you do not need to purchase anything to attend.
Practice Sword
One instructor-approved Tai Chi-style training sword is provided. Use only approved equipment in class. Outside swords must be reviewed and cleared by the instructor before use.
Yoga Mat
May be used during select conditioning, mobility, and recovery portions. Not required unless the instructor notifies you in advance.
Resistance Bands
Light or medium bands may complement certain conditioning segments. Optional unless otherwise communicated before class.
Participants may bring their own:
- Yoga mat
- Light or medium resistance bands
- Water bottle
- Small workout towel
Approved yoga mats, resistance bands, and additional practice accessories may also be available through the Blade & Body Shop.
